This document is a user manual for the SAMMIX DW10 Digital Photo Frame, version 2.0. It provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, using, and maintaining the device, along with troubleshooting tips and contact information.

Function Description:

The SAMMIX DW10 is a digital photo frame designed to display photos and videos. It can connect to a Wi-Fi network to receive new content and user requests, and it supports binding with the OurPhoto App for easy content sharing from smartphones or tablets. The frame can also display content from an SD card or via email. It features a motion sensor lens, a power on/off button, a lock button, and a removable bracket for versatile placement.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Model: DW10
  • Wi-Fi: Supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Private Wi-Fi networks are highly recommended.
  • Internal Storage: Built-in 16GB memory, estimated to store over 40,000 photos of 300KB/pc.
  • SD Card Support: Max 32GB SD card.
  • Video Clip Limit (via App): 30 seconds or 100MB.
  • Power: Requires continuous power connection; no built-in battery.
  • FCC Compliance: Complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules, Class B digital device. Minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and the user's body during operation.

Usage Features:

  • Installation: Can be placed in landscape or portrait orientation using the included stand, or wall-mounted using the wall mount hole.
  • Initial Setup: Guides the user through initial settings for Wi-Fi, device information, and sleep mode.
  • OurPhoto App Integration:
    • Downloadable from App Store or Google Play.
    • Account registration and login.
    • Binding the frame: The frame owner binds the device first by entering the 6-digit Frame ID (found in Settings → Device Info) and creating a device name and unique email account for the frame.
    • Inviting others to bind: Non-frame owners can bind by entering the Frame ID provided by the owner, who then accepts the binding request on the frame (Settings → User Management → Pending User Requests).
    • Uploading photos/videos: Users can upload photos and videos from their smartphone/tablet via the app. The app supports sending full images.
  • Content Upload Methods:
    • Via App: Upload photos and videos directly from a smartphone or tablet.
    • Via Email: Send photos as attachments to the frame's email address (videos cannot be uploaded via email). The email subject should be "bd + Frame ID" (e.g., "bd123456").
    • Via SD Card: Insert an SD card into the frame to view and import photos/videos to the internal memory.
    • Via Micro USB: Connect the frame to a computer via micro USB to transfer files to the "Picture" or "Movies" folders.
  • Display Settings:
    • Full Screen: Option to display photos in full screen.
    • Slideshow: Customizable slideshow time (15 seconds to 30 minutes), interval (5 seconds to 60 minutes), and transition effects. Can be set to never close.
    • Slideshow Mode: Choose between Sequential or Random display.
    • Description: Option to show descriptions while viewing photos.

    • Turn on/off "Accept New Users" to manage binding requests.
    • View and manage bound users: View account photos, remark name, delete user, or delete user and photos.
    • Accept or refuse pending user requests.
  • Photo/Video Management:
    • Delete: Delete files from the Photo or Video library (internal storage) or directly from the slideshow display.
    • Export: Export photos and videos from internal storage to an extended SD card.
    • Remote Management: Photos and videos can only be managed (export/delete) directly on the frame for privacy and safety reasons; the app does not store them.
    • Sequencing: Photos are sequenced by the time they are received, not by name.

Maintenance Features:

  • Factory Data Reset: Resets the frame to default settings, removes all user info, settings, and files. Requires disconnecting from Wi-Fi first and unchecking "Delete all users and restore the device to inactive."
  • System Updates: Users are advised to update the system as soon as possible when notifications are received.
  • SD Card Protection: The system protects and locks the SD card if no action is taken for a while after insertion. To reactivate, remove and reinsert the card.
  • External Device Removal: It is recommended to remove all external devices when resetting the photo frame.
