Installation Procedure
Connecting wire conduits
When connecting cables between the indoor unit and the
outdoor unit, use conduits to protect the cables.
1 Drill holes on the conduit plate in accordance with
their use and quantity.
• AC018BXADCH
– Drill conduit holes on the side cabinet. (knock
out holes)

• AC024/030/036/042/048BXADCH
– Use a nipper to remove conduit holes from the
lower part of the cabinet.
(Do not remove it by hammering.)

2 Insert the cables through the conduits, and then fix the
conduits to the conduit plate with the lock nuts.
3 Apply silicone to the end of the hose to prevent rain
from entering the hose.

4 Connect the cables to the outdoor units.

5 Attach the conduit plate to the product.

CAUTION
• If the outdoor unit is installed in a location vulnerable
to an electric leak or submergence, make sure to
install an ELCB.
• AC018BXADCH, AC024BXADCH: ELCB must be installed
since this product is equipped with a base heater.
