Before Encrypting Your Device
Important!Chargethebatterytoatleast80%,andplugthedeviceintothechargertoensurethat
thebatteryremainscharged.
Note:SetaScreenlockpasswordofatleast6characters,includingatleastonenumber.

Press andtouch >Settings>More tab.
2. TouchSecuritytosetoptions:
l Encrypt device:Encryptdatastoredinyourdevice’sinternalmemory.
l Encrypt external SD card:Encryptfilesstoredonanoptionalmemorycard(notincluded).
Youcanchoosewhethertoencryptonlynewfiles,ortoencryptallfilesonthecard.Youcan
alsochoosetoexcludemultimediafilesfromencryption.
Make Passwords Visible
Setpasswordcharacterstobrieflydisplayasyouenterthem.

2. TouchMake passwords visibletoenabletheoption.
Device Administration

n Settingthenumberoffailedpasswordattemptsbeforethedeviceisrestoredtofactorysettings.
n Automaticallylockingthedevice.
n Restoringfactorysettingsonthedevice.
