Section 6: Settings
This section explains the settings used for customizing your
device. If settings are described in another section of this
user manual, then a cross reference to that description is
provided.
Accessing Settings
From the main Home screen, touch Settings.
– or –
From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings.
– or –
From any screen, touch the top of the screen and
swipe downward, to display the Notification Panel, and
then touch Settings.
The Settings screen displays.
The Settings Screen
The Settings screen has tabs on the left side of the screen.
Information related to the tabs displays on the right side of
the screen. In list view, there are five major groups of
settings.
Note: From any Settings screen, touch Menu ➔ Switch
to tab view to view settings in a tabbed format. Touch
Menu ➔ Switch to list view to return to the
default view.
Wireless and Networks
Control your device’s wireless connections, Airplane mode,
Bluetooth, and more.
Device
Personalize your device, including sounds, the display, and
power saving mode.
