Section 4: Call Functions
This section describes how to make, answer or end a call.
Making a Call
1. From the Home screen, touch . The touch keypad
displays.
2. Touch the numbers to call using the touch keypad and
touch . Remember to include necessary long
distance codes.

1. Open slide of phone.
2. From the Home screen, touch and enter the phone,
or Vanity number using the QWERTY keypad.
Note:
Phone numbers may be entered in either numeric or alphabetic mode
using the QWERTY keyboard, but will be converted to numeric when
dialed or saved.
3. Touch .
Note:
If the number(s) entered is a speed dial location, the phone number
associated with that location will be dialed.
Ending a Call
Follow the steps below to end a call.
1. If the backlight is off, press the
Clear
key to
illuminate the display and unlock your device.
Note:
If the backlight is on but the display is locked, press the
Lock
/
Unlock
key to unlock the display, or touch the
Lock icon
.
2. Press the
End/Power
key or touch the button to
disconnect the call.
