1 Main EEV
- Used to control super heat in cooling operation and when the majority of indoor units is in heating
mode
- Used to control when the majority of indoor units is in cooling mode
2 Out EEV Valve
- Used Always open in cooling operation
- Used Closed when the majority of indoor units is in cooling mode & in heating mode and in all
indoor units heating mode
3 Gas-Liquid EEV
- Used Used to collect liquid refrigerant accumulated on liquid pipe by opening gas-liquid EEV when
main EEV is closed fully
4 Liquid Bypass EEV
- Used to prevent compressor from being overheated
- Used to control super cool in cooling operation
5 Hot Gas Valve
- Used to increase low pressure to protect compressor during operation
- Used to increase low pressure at the initial operation
6 Oil Valve
- Used Fully closed not to stop migrating oil between compressors at the normal operation
- Used Opened to migrate oil between compressor in oil return operation
7 Main Cool Valve
- Used to give high pressurized gas to units in heating operation when the majority of indoor units
is in cooling operation
No Components Function
■ Outdoor Unit
1
- To migrate refrigerant accumulated on discharge tube to liquid tube in Cooling Operation
- To reduce noise level generated when valves located in MCU switch on or off by reducing pressure
difference
- To prevent tube from being frozen by increasing low pressure
2 MCU EEV
- Used to control refrigerant distribution among MCUs when the majority of indoor units is in heating
operation
3
- Used to control refrigerant between Outdoor unit and MCU when the majority of indoor units is in
heating mode
- Always closed in cooling mode and when the majority of indoor units is in cooling mode
- Always open in heating mode
4 Cooling Valve - Open when indoor units is selected to Cooling Mode
5 Heating Valve - Open when indoor units is selected to Heating Mode
