To use an Advanced shortcut
feature:
1. In Idle mode, enter a number.
2. For sending a text message,
enter the destination number.
For an alarm or scheduler item,
enter the time you want as 4-
digit.
For example: Enter “1234.” This
4-digit number will be displayed
as 12:34 in the Alarm time
line.
For the converter or calculator,
enter the number you want to
convert, or the first number you
want to use.
3. Press one of the Navigation
keys.
4. See the corresponding menu.

You can protect the phone against
unauthorised use with a phone
password. The phone will require
the password on power-up.
1. In Idle mode, press < Menu >
and select Settings →
Security → Change
password .
2. Enter the default password,
00000000 and press < OK >.
3. Enter a new 4- to 8-digit
password and press < OK >.
4. Enter the new password again
and press < OK >.
5. Select Phone lock .
6. Select Enable .
7. Enter the password and press
< OK >.
