Restrict background data : Set the device to disable sync in the background while using
a mobile network.

Show Wi-Fi usage : Set the device to show your data usage via Wi-Fi.

Mobile hotspots : Select mobile hotspots to prevent apps that are running in the
background from using them.

Mobile networks : Configure your mobile network settings.
Location
Change settings for location information permissions.
On the Settings screen, tap
Location , and then tap the Location switch to activate it.

Mode : Select a method to collect your location data.
•
Improve accuracy : Set the device to improve location accuracy using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
features.
•
Recent location requests : View which apps request your current location information
and their battery usage.
•
Location services : View the location services your device is using.
•
My places : Save your favourite locations for use with apps that require location
information. Your device will provide relevant information and services by recognising
saved locations using Maps, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
NFC and sharing
Change the settings for various sharing features.
On the Settings screen, tap
NFC and sharing .

NFC : Change settings for using the NFC feature. Refer to NFC for more information.
•
Nearby devices : Change the settings for sharing content with nearby devices. All devices
must support Wi-Fi Direct or be connected to the same Wi-Fi network or a mobile
hotspot.

Printing : Configure settings for printer plug-ins installed on the device. You can search
for available printers or add one manually to print files. Refer to Mobile printing for more
information.
