Using Contacts options
While viewing contact details, press <
Options
> to
access the following options:
•
Edit
: edit contact information.
•
Prepend
: add an area code or service number
before dialling the selected number.
•
Erase #
: delete the contact.
•
Send Contact
: send the contact via Bluetooth.
Add New Entry
(Menu 0.2)
Use this menu to add a new contact to Contacts.
1. Change the settings or enter information about the
contact.
•
Name
: assign a name.
•
Phone number
: enter a number and select a
number type.
•
Email
: assign an e-mail address.
•
URL
: enter a homepage address.
•
Nickname
: assign a nickname.
•
Memo
: add a memo about the person.
•
Group
: assign the contact to a caller group.
•
Ring
: assign a ringtone to alert you to a call
from the person.
•
Photo
: assign an image to alert you to a call
from the person.
2. Press <
Done
> to save the contact.
My Phone #
(Menu 0.3)
Use this menu to check your phone number.
Speed Dial #s
(Menu 0.4)
Once you have stored phone numbers in Contacts, you
can set up to 99 speed-dial entries and then dial them
easily by pressing the associated one or two number
keys.
Assigning speed dial numbers
1. Enter a key location number you want or select an
empty location from the list. Key
1
is reserved for
your voicemail server.
Press <
Contacts
> in Idle mode to quickly access
this menu.
