phone until it snaps into place.

removing the battery.
1. Open the battery compartment hatch after pushing
a lock upward in the direction of an arrow.
2. Place your thumbnail behind the small ridge on the
top of the battery and slide it out.

Charging With a Travel Charger
Note : The travel charger is optional item. If you
want to charge the battery, you need to purchase
it. Use only the approved travel charger. Ask your
local Samsung dealer for further details.
Using the travel charger, you can use your phone
while the battery is being charged, but this causes
the phone to charge the battery more slowly.
1. With the battery in position on the phone, plug
the connector of the travel charger into jack at
the bottom of the phone.
2. Plug the travel charger into a standard AC wall
outlet.
The LED on the charger indicates the charging
progress as listed below:
• Red: the battery is charging.
• Green: the battery is completely charged.
3. When charging is finished, unplug the travel charger
from the power outlet and from the phone by
pressing the gray tabs on both sides of the connector
and pulling the connector out.
Charging With a Battery Charger
Using the battery charger, you can charge the battery
alone.
1. Insert the battery alone into the slot of
the battery charger, ensuring the
terminals on the battery contacting
with those on the charger and press
the battery until it snaps into place.
2. Plug the connector of the travel charger into the
jack at the bottom of the battery charger.
3. Plug the travel charger into a standard AC
wall outlet.
Using the Battery Charger as a
Cradle
You can place the phone on the charger
when you don't use the phone.
1. Push up the holder of the battery charger.
2. Turn the mold in the direction
of arrow.
3. Place the phone on the
mold of the batter charger.
4. When charging is finished, unplug the travel
charger from the power outlet and from the
battery charger. Refer to step 3 of the "Charging
With a Travel Charger".
5. Take the battery out of the battery charger.
