washing machine
Keeping your washing machine clean improves its performance, wards off
unnecessary repairs, and lengthens its life.
This course is a self-cleaning course that removes mold that may occur inside the
washing machine.
1. Press the Power button.
2. Turn the Cycle Selector to the Drum Clean course.
• You can only use the Delay End function.
• The water temperature during the Drum Clean is set to
70 ˚C.
You cannot change the temperature.
• It will auto set cotton 30 ˚C middle water level program
when cloth is put in.
3. Place the appropriate amount of cleansing agent into the
detergent compartment
and close the detergent drawer
(when cleaning the drum using a cleansing agent).
• Be sure to use the recommended cleansing agent for
cleaning the drum.
• There are powder-type and liquid-type drum cleansing
agents. The liquid-type cleaning agent is only available
with liquid detergent box (option).
4. Press the Start/Pause button.
• If you press the Start/Pause button, the Drum Clean course begins.
• UsingtheDrumCleancourse,youcancleanthedrumwithoutusingacleansingagent.
• NeverusetheDrumCleancoursewhenlaundryisinthewashingmachine.Thismayresultin
damage to the texture or a problem with the washing machine.
• In the Drum Clean course, never use normal detergent.
• Use only 1/10 of the amount of the drum cleansing agent recommended by the
cleansing agent manufacturer.
• Sinceusingachlorinebleachingagentmaydiscolourtheproduct,besuretouseonly
oxygen bleaching agents.
• Powder-typecleansingagent:Usea[powder-typebleachingagent]ora[cleansingagentfor
drumcleaningonly].
• Liquid-typecleansingagent:Usea[liquid-typeoxygenbleachingagent]ora[cleansingagent
fordrumcleaningonly].
• Ifthe“DrumClean”indicatoronthedisplayislitafterawash,itindicatesthattub(drum)
cleaning is required. In this case, remove the laundry from the washing machine, turn the
power on, and clean the drum by performing the Drum Clean course.
• IfyoudonotperformtheDrumCleancourse,the“DrumClean”indicatoronthedisplayis
turned off. However, the “Drum Clean” indicator on the display and the lamp on the Cycle
Selector are turned on again after two washes are performed. However, this will not result in
a problem with the washing machine.
