3. Add fabric softener to the softener
compartment. Do not exceed the max
line (A).
CAUTION
- Powdered fabric softener is not
recommended. Use liquid fabric
softener only.
- Concentrated fabric softener must
be diluted with water before being
added.
- Do not add main-wash detergent to
the softener compartment.
4. If you want to prewash, add prewash
detergent to the prewash compartment
as instructed or recommended by the
manufacturer.
NOTE
If you use a high efciency (HE)
detergent, apply 1/3 of the
recommended amount to the
prewash compartment and 2/3 of the
recommended amount to the main-
wash compartment.
5. Close the detergent drawer.
