What to do if the product from my SaniServ Dispenser is too thick?
    • A
      adamramirezAug 8, 2025
If the product from your SaniServ Dispenser is too thick, start by checking if the product is properly mixed. Also, confirm that the freezing cylinder is not starved of product. Verify the product temperature, ensuring it's between 18-21 degrees for soft serve and 17-20 degrees for yogurt. Inspect for missing scraper blades or stator rods. Finally, check for a sticking spigot lever or switch; if it's stuck in the up position, it can cause the unit to run continually.

If you notice your SaniServ Dispenser's front plate leaking, check the front plate o-ring to ensure it is not ripped or torn, and replace it if necessary. Also, check the spigot plunger o-rings for the same issue. Ensure the spigot plunger o-rings are lubricated daily. Tighten the front plate knobs evenly. Lastly, confirm that the stator rod is not worn or grooved.

If product is leaking from the drip chute or drip tube of your SaniServ Dispenser, replace the rear seal if it is worn. Remember to replace seals, o-rings, and gaskets every six months. Do not lubricate the rubber portion of the rear seal, but ensure the shaft of the dasher where the rear seal is installed is lubricated daily. Check that the stator rod is not worn or grooved. Ensure front plate knobs are not loose.

Maintain a product level of ½ to ¾ full in the mix-pan reservoir.
