Why won't my SANLI Trimmer start?

  Your SANLI Trimmer might not start due to several reasons: * The « Start/Stop» switch is in the STOP position. Solution: Put the start/stop switch into the START position. * The air filter is dirty. Solution: Clean or replace the filter. * The spark plug is dirty and/or badly set. Solution: Clean it, set the electrodes at 0.5 mm. * The spark plug is old and worn. Solution: Change the spark plug. * There is no fuel. Solution: Fill up the tank. * The mixture is too old or of bad quality. Solution: Drain the fuel tank, and fill it up with fresh 2 stroke mixture. * The exhaust pipe is blocked. Solution: Clean it to unblock it or change it.

  If the engine runs but the spool doesn’t move, it could be because: * The spool is blocked due to the cutting debris. Suggested solution: Stop the device, remove the objects blocking the spool. * The transmission is faulty or worn. In this case you should contact a SANLI-approved repairer to dismantle it.

  If the cutting line doesn’t come out of your SANLI Trimmer, it might be due to: * The line spool is empty. Suggested solution: Replace the wire spool. * The automatic nylon line feeding system is dirty. Suggested solution: Dismantle and clean the line and its support.
