Spool gear T @ Do not confuse spool gears T and S.
Spool gear S
Spool gear brake @ While inserting the brake spring into the groove in the spool gear, slide
spring x2 it in the ® arrow direction to mount it onto the dowel on the back of the
ribbon frame.
@ Make sure the brake springs are correctly oriented (the side with the
crown faces downward).

@ Attach the spring to the hole in the ribbon feeding pawl and to the ribbon
detecting lever shaft.
