MACRO
(CLOSE-UP)
FOCUSING
Under
ordinary
conditions,
a
subject's
image
cannot
be
focused
in
the
viewfinder
if
the
subject
is
within
about
1.2
m
of
the
camcorder.
Macro
focusing
can
be
used
to
focus
on
closer
subjects
(from
1.2
m
to
about
15
mm
from
the
camcorder).
Set
the
FOCUS
switch
to
MAN.
Press
and
hold
the
MACRO
SET
button.
Move
the
manual
zoom
lever
to
the
MACRO
range.
Approach
the
subject
and
adjust
the
ZOOM
lever
within
the
MACRO
range
(area
within
the
green
bracket)
to
focus
the
subject's
image
in
the
viewfinder.
Bom
To
return
to
normal
shooting,
manually
turn
the
ZOOM
LEVER
or
press
and
hold
the
POWER
ZOOM
until
the
lever
clicks
into
the
tele
position.
einadvertent
camcorder
movement
will
reduce
the
quality
of
macro
recordings.
The
use
of
a
tripod
or
stand
to
hold
the
camcorder
fixed
in
place
during
macro
recording
is
recommended.
Note
:
The
zoom
feature
cannot
be
used
during
macro
recording.
To
reduce
the
size
of
the
object
in
the
viewfinder,
the
camera
and
the
object
must
be
moved
farther
apart.
