Auto date
function
When this function is set, the date will be inserted
the first

seconds of the first recording of a day.
Before setting the auto date function, make
sure to set
the date and time correctlv.
Set the camcorder to recording pause mode.

Blank search function
The blank search function lets you easily find the
end of the recorded portion on the tape (the
beginning of the blank portion).
When in CAMERA mode, set to recordino pause
mode, and when in PLAYER mode, set to stop
mode, then press the BLANK button.
Press the DATE button until the AUTO DATE
indicator is displayed in the viewfinder.
Note
Press the
REC START/STOP
button.
While the AUTO DATE indicator is flashing, the
date is recorded.
Before starting to record. it is recommended to
confirm the stop position of the Blank search
function. If previous recordings have been made
with blanks in between the recordings, the blank

To cancel the auto date function, press the
DATE button to erase the AUTO DATE indicator
from the viewfinder.
The auto date function will remain selected even if
the power is turned off.
WARNING:
The auto date function is cancelled when the tape is
ejected. Reset the auto date function as indicated,
every time a tape is loaded in the camcorder.
