If the current ink flow time is greater than 115% of the target flow
time, the ‘Flow time too high’ warning will be displayed.
Flow Time Too High Warning
Type Cause* Solution
Make-up fluid can not add.
Check the printer with follow steps to solve
problem:
Check the make-up filter whether is
clogged or not, replace a new one if
needed.
Check the make-up adding solenoid
whether is working or not.
Check the Make-up pump working status.
Cleaning or replace the above spares if
necessary.
The ‘Flow Time Calibration’ is not
performed correctly.
Perform the “Ink Refresh” procedure, followed
by the “Flow Time Calibration” procedure. (See
Chapter 6, Maintenance)
Warning
The float in the ink supply cylinder
is sticking.
Check the float and the sharpness of the
viscometer, cleaning is needed. Replace it if
necessary.

Flow Time Too Low Warning
If the current ink flow time is less than 85 percent of the target
flow time, the ‘Flow time too low’ warning will be displayed.
Type Cause* Solution
Out put of Viscometer, the
connectors of circulation system
leakage.
Check whether there is leaking occurs, replace
the connector or tube if necessary.
Ink is diluted.
Check the printer with follow steps to solve
problem:
Cleaning fluid was sucked into ink tank
while cleaning nozzle manually.
Check whether the make-up adding
solenoid working status, whether leaking
or not.
The ‘Flow Time Calibration’ is not
performed correctly.
Perform the “Flow Time Calibration” procedure.
(See Chapter 6, Maintenance)
Warning
