  If your Scandia Air Conditioner isn't operating, first check the power supply. Also, the isolating switch might be off. Other potential causes include a damaged fan motor (indoor or outdoor unit), a faulty compressor thermomagnetic circuit breaker, faulty fuses, or loose connections. Sometimes, the unit stops to protect itself, so wait for it to reset. Ensure the voltage is within the specified range and deactivate the TIMER-ON function. A damaged electronic control board could also be the culprit.

  If your Scandia Air Conditioner is not responding to commands, make sure the remote control is close enough to the indoor unit. Try replacing the battery in the remote control. Also, ensure there are no obstacles blocking the signal between the remote and the indoor unit's receiver.

  If your Scandia Air Conditioner has insufficient airflow, whether hot or cold, adjust the temperature setting. Check for and clear any blockages in the air inlet or outlet of the indoor or outdoor unit. Clean or replace the air filter if it's blocked. Increase the fan speed if it's set at minimum. Eliminate other heat sources in the room. A lack of refrigerant may also be the cause, so check the refrigerant level.
