Point your browser to obdlink.com/software and download "OBDwiz for Windows". Run the installer.
The LED turns yellow upon connecting SX to the PC's USB port, indicating successful connection.
A red LED suggests driver issues; download drivers from obdlink.com for older Windows versions.
The OBD port is typically located on the driver's side, underneath the dashboard.
If the OBD port cannot be found, visit obdport.info for assistance.
The LED turns green, confirming the ignition is in the "Key On, Engine Off" state.
For vehicles with push-button start, press the button once without applying the brake pedal.
A yellow LED may indicate blown fuses in the OBD port, auxiliary, or cigarette lighter sockets.
Click Start > Programs > OBDwiz > OBDwiz. Enter the license key when prompted.
The license key is provided on a separate insert included with your purchase.
Click the 'Connect' button within the OBDwiz software to establish a link with the vehicle.
