Quantities:
The manual provides a table with recommended quantities for plain, with less sugar, medium sugar, and with sugar Turkish coffee, based on a one-serving medium cup (65ml). These are guidelines and can be adjusted to personal taste. For a foamy, delicious coffee, fine grind fresh coffee suitable for Turkish coffee is recommended. Sugar cubes are suggested for easier adjustment of sugar levels.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning:
- General Cleaning: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a damp cloth and a small amount of dishwashing detergent to clean the outer surface of the coffee pot. Rinse the interior with water and wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance or its power cable in water or any other liquid. Do not use gasoline, solvent, abrasive cleaning agents, metal objects, or hard brushes.
- Coffee Pot: The coffee pot should be washed with warm water, not boiling water, as boiling water can affect product performance. Do not wash the coffee pot in a dishwasher. After each use, rinse the coffee pot with water to prevent coffee particles from drying on the heating element.
- Sensor Glass: After successive cooking cycles, wipe any water droplets on the sensor glass with a dry cloth.
Descaling:
To remove stains or deposits from the coffee-making reservoir, pour one dessert spoon of citric acid crystals into the reservoir. Add boiling water until it fills 1/3 of the pot. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes. After waiting, rinse the coffee-making reservoir and use it again. Failure to descale for a long time can lead to lime buildup, rendering the appliance inoperable.
Storage:
If the appliance will not be used for a long time, store it carefully. Ensure it is unplugged, cooled down, and completely dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
Handling and Transportation:
Always carry the appliance in its original packaging during handling and transportation to protect it from physical damage. Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or its packaging. Dropping the appliance may cause damage or render it inoperable.
