Product description
Purpose
The Y-adapter AZM-Y-8P-IO makes it possible to connect in series
electronic solenoid interlocks and sensors in the series AZM, MZM
and RSS.
For this purpose the safety channels are connected in series. The
IN inputs as well as the diagnostic outputs OUT are connected in
parallel. The terminating plug AZM-Y-A-8P-IO supplies the safety
channels with the operating voltage. M12 cable extensions can be
used for the wiring. Please note that voltage losses could occur (due
to cable length, cable section, voltage drop / solenoid interlock). This
aspect limits the maximum number of solenoid interlocks and sensors
connected in series.
The electrical connection may only be carried out by
authorised personnel in a de-energised condition.
