This document describes the Grouw Robotic Lawnmower 2000M² (Model 18244 / DYM223205), a battery-powered robotic lawnmower designed for gardens up to 2000 m².
Function Description
The robotic lawnmower operates by randomly choosing its direction, ensuring that the entire lawn area within the boundary wire is cut. It is equipped with sensors that allow it to detect obstacles and the boundary wire. When an obstacle is encountered, the mower stops, reverses, and changes direction. If the mower detects the boundary wire, it turns around and continues mowing within the defined area. The mower can also be programmed with a multi-zone function to manage different areas of the garden. It features a spiral cutting mode for improved coverage and a boundary cut function to ensure the edges of the lawn are trimmed. The mower automatically returns to its charging station when the battery is low or when its working time is complete. It also has a rain sensor that can stop mowing in wet conditions and an ultrasonic sensor to help avoid obstacles.

Usage Features
- Anti-theft/Disabling Device: Requires a four-digit PIN code to operate, preventing unauthorized use.
- Lift Sensor: Stops blades immediately if the mower is lifted more than 10mm during operation.
- Tilt Sensor: Stops blades immediately if the mower is tilted up from any side towards a vertical position.
- Obstruction Sensor: Detects obstacles, stops movement in that direction, and reverses away.
- Rain Sensor: Can stop the mower from operating in the rain.
- Emergency Stop Button: Immediately stops the mower and blades when pressed.
- Main Power Switch: Must be switched off before lifting or performing maintenance.

- Mow in the Rain Setting: Allows users to choose whether the mower operates in the rain or waits for a set period. Default is to wait 2 hours after rain sensor is not triggered.

Maintenance Features
- Sealed Battery: The lithium-ion battery is completely sealed and does not leak fluids.
- Winter Storage: Recommended to store the mower and charging station in a dry, frost-free place (shed or garage). The battery should be fully charged and stored indoors, with re-charging every three months.
- Cleaning: Regular cleaning with a dry brush or damp cloth is recommended. Avoid high-pressure washers or constantly flowing water.
- Mower Body: Clean with a soft brush and/or damp cloth with mild detergent.
- Underside: Turn the mower on its side (main power switch OFF, wear protective gloves) to clean the blade disc and frame. Ensure blades move freely.
- Contact Pins and Charging Strips: Clean with a metal cleaner or fine-grade emery paper to ensure efficient charging.
- Cutter Blade Sharpening/Replacement:
- Always use original replacement blades and mounting parts for optimal cutting efficiency and safety.
- The mower has three pivoting blades.
- Blades can last up to 3 months (if no obstacles are hit).
- Replace all three blades at the same time for best balance and cutting performance.
- Use a screwdriver to remove and replace blades. Ensure new blades spin freely.
- Battery Replacement:
- Open the battery door at the back of the mower.
- Press the latch button to remove the old battery.
- Insert the new original battery, ensuring the latch snaps into place and the battery is fully seated.
- Close the battery door.
