Fitting the faceshield
1. Using both hands, guide the
faceshield´s locking studs into the
respective recess in the base plate.
2. Continue to apply pressure with both
hands while returning the faceshield
to the closed position. This will
engage the locking mechanism.
3. Make sure the faceshield is properly
attached by opening the faceshield
to maximum open position and
closing. This will also ensure the
ratcheting mechanism is working
properly.
Warning:
Do not drive with a blurred, dirty or scratched shield! Impaired
vision can cause an accident resulting in serious personal injury
or death!
REPLACING THE FACESHIELD
Changing the faceshield screen is easy to do without tools with the
convenient EasyChange mechanism. To replace the faceshield, it
is helpful to place the helmet on a flat surface or on your lap while
seated.
Removing the faceshield
1. Slide the faceshield into the
ratcheted lock-in position.
2. Press the spring element underneath
the EasyChange mechanism base
plate towards the faceshield opening,
then do the same with the spring
element on the other side.
3. Move the faceshield upwards until
it is released from the base plate.
