in such a way that one side of it is
already slotted into the locking pin and
the silicone sealing is on the side facing
the faceshield.
2. Now grasp the other side of Pinlock
®
visor by its upper and lower edges
and use your index finger to gently
press the end of the Pinlock
®
visor
into a light ”S” form. Now you can

pin and release the Pinlock
®
visor.
3. The Pinlock
®
visor should now be
positioned in the faceshield with
its lower edge parallel to the lower
edge of the faceshield. If you need to
change the positioning of the
Pinlock

hands to gently bend the faceshield
until the Pinlock
®
visor detaches
slightly and can be shifted
accordingly.
Warning:
Make sure that the faceshield is properly engaged in the
ratchet/base plate mechanism. If not properly engaged the
faceshield comes loose and/or falls off while you are riding,
your vision may be limited or blocked, which could cause an
accident resulting in serious personal injury or death.
Warning:
The faceshield is an important safety feature of the helmet,
and you should never, under any circumstances remove the
faceshield without replacing it. Do not ride without a properly
installed faceshield.

1. Before starting to remove the Pinlock
®
visor, first lay the visor on a soft, clean
piece of cloth so that its top edge is
facing you.
2. For the purposes of reducing the
tension of the Pinlock
®
visor slightly if
necessary, you can use the balls of
your hands to carefully bend the visor
sufficiently apart while at the same time
pressing with your thumbs so that the
inner shield becomes released and
moves approx. 2-3 mm forward.
