How to fix fuzzy image on scope LSU VL-7EX II Microscope?
    • R
      Regina MccoyAug 18, 2025
If the image from the scope Microscope 1X lens appears fuzzy, rotate the black ring to adjust the focus. For the 30X lens, ensure the lens tip is making contact and is flat against the object; consider using the stand without the contact tip. With the 200X lens, ensure contact with the object and rotate the white scalloped ring to adjust focus.

If the image produced by the 1X lens of your scope Microscope has a weird color, try the following: * For newer models, turn the scope off and on using the power switch on the cradle to correct the color balance. If this doesn't work, press the LIGHT button to revert to the previous setting. * For older models, press the ERASE button located on the underside of the scope. If the 30X lens of your scope Microscope comes apart, ensure you have all the lens pieces. Place the donut-shaped piece (with lights and circuitry) on the lens base with the lights facing up, turning it until it fits snugly. Screw the gray plastic tip with threads into the white housing counterclockwise until fully screwed in. If the top of the gray plastic tip is detached, simply pop it back on.

If the image is too dark or you can’t see the details of the object when using the scope Microscope, make sure the lights in the lens are on by pressing the LIGHT/ON button if you are using the 30X or 200X lens. If you're using the 1X lens or looking at a water sample with the 30X or 200X lens, try adding a lamp or changing the background on which the specimen is placed.

Verify the power switch on the scope’s cradle is on (the red light should be illuminated). Press the LIGHT/ON button on the scope to ensure the lights are activated. Confirm that the correct channel or input is selected on your display. Plug the video cable into the yellow video input port on the TV, projector, DVD/VCR, digital converter or active board.
