REMOVAL

While
supporting
the
outer
\.:1
fairing, remove
the
middle
windshield bolt, lift
away and
unplug headlight to remove
fairing
shell. Store fairing in a
safe
place until re-assembly.
Extract
(2)
1,4''
6mm hex
bolts
from each side
of
the radio housing.
Unbolt
and remove inner fairing support
brackets from each side (3/16" hex &
T-25 Torx screws) Note
that
the
Torx
screw is
also
a shared speaker screw.
Carefully
back
the
radio
out
of
the
fairing,
unplug wiring
connectors, antenna and
remove
the
radio.
NOTE:
Reuse the
(4)
factory
bolts
to
mount
the
HD7000B
kit (see page
6)
.
