if the relevant protective measures are not taken.
N OTICE
This symbol is used to address practices not related to physical injury –
which may, however, result in damage to property and the environment.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This symbol indicates specific safety-related instructions or procedures
about how to handle the product or refers to a section in the operating
instructions that deserves your particular attention.
The described possible consequences will not be repeated in the SCOTT own-
er’s manual every time one of the symbols appears.
The present owner’s manual complies with the requirements of the EN ISO
standard 4210-2 road bikes.
It is essential to also observe the manuals of the component manufacturers.
