FB: Full Back protector
Protective device worn on the back intended to
reduce the severity of injuries caused by impacts to
the central back and scapula area.

CB: Central Back protector
Protective device worn on the back intended to
reduce the severity of injuries caused by impacts to
central back.

LB: Lower Back Protector
Protective device worn on the back intended to
reduce the severity of injuries caused by impacts to
the lumbar region.

TYPE A & B
Stands for the size of the protectors and is applicable
to all joint impact protectors. Type A refers to the
standard dimensions of protection for the average
user. Type B has an additional wider area of protec-
tion compared to type A.
LEVEL
The performance is based on the amount of impact transmission measured in kN (kilo Newton).

The EN 1621-2:2014 provides 2 Levels of protection: Level 1 and Level 2. According to EN 1621-
