XII MAINTENANCE
A- BEFORE USE AND POST - AVALANCHE CHECKS
Please check manufacturers website for updated user instructions.
Every use of the SCOTT PATROL E2 KIT BACKPACK can negatively affect the material. Often the damage is not visible with the naked
eye. After a use in an avalanche, contact the authorized SCOTT Dealer where you have bought your SCOTT PATROL E2 KIT BACKPACK
for further inspection.

Please check the following product components:
• Quick burst zipper for damage
• Shoulder straps, chest strap, hip belt and leg loop for tears and deformation
• All seams for tears
• All buckles (chest strap and hip belt ) for damage
• All tension locks (shoulder straps and leg loop) for damage

ALPRIDE E2 AIRBAG SYSTEM
Please check Alpride’s website for updated system instructions and firmware. SCOTT recommends
checking for updates at the beginning of every season and check monthly when the equipment is in regular use.
Please check the following product components:
• Airbag for punctures.
• Airbag fastening straps (1-5) for tears.
• Cable, casing, deflation knob, on/off switch, battery compartment for damage
• Display for damage and malfunction
B – STORAGE, CLEANING AND SERVICE LIFE

STORAGE
Store the Alpride E2 Airbag System in a cool and dry environment. Do not store your product in direct sunlight.
Hang your gear to dry away from direct heat sources. SCOTT recommends to store your gear at a temperature between 0°C and 30°C.
The equipment should be cleaned thoroughly before storing for long periods.
For safety reasons, keep the backpack out of reach of children.
