ular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures :
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
V TIME OF OBSOLESCENCE
Personal protective equipment has limited lifespan. For optimum safety, SCOTT recommends replacing your product five (5) years after
the purchasing date.
The product may lose its protective properties after being in an avalanche, sustaining heavy impacts or impacts that result in damages to
the product. In such cases, the product must be replaced.
The ALPRIDE E2 AIRBAG SYSTEM is certified for 100 inflations, after which it must be replaced.
After more then 100 inflations the manufacturer shall not be liable for damages relating to the use of product.
VI CORRECT ATTACHMENT AND SETTING
A- POSITION AND FIT
The product is designed to stay firmly in contact with the body. Shoulder straps should be fastened tightly to guar-
antee stability of the equipment during use. Check that all closure systems are always securely closed (chest strap, hip belt and leg loop).
The product should fit snugly but not too tightly. For maximum protection and safety, it should not cause any discomfort.
The system will only be of use to you if the backpack stays on your body during an emergency ! Most of the weight of the pack should be
resting on your hips rather than being carried by your shoulders.
