Installation Steps

Label Wires on Old Controller

Label current zones and wires before disconnecting using provided orange, black, and gray labels.

Remove Old Controller

Dismount your old sprinkler controller from the wall.

Remove Gro™ Controller Cover

Pull cover apart from base using the bottom opening to expose ports.

Install Gro™ Controller

Mount the Gro™ Controller using the four provided screws, utilizing wall anchors if necessary.

Connect the Wires

Connect labeled wires to corresponding ports (orange for zones, black for common, gray for pump start).

Plug in Gro™ Controller

Connect the power supply to the controller and plug into an electrical outlet.

Attach Gro™ Controller Cover

Attach the controller cover; indicator light turns green, awaiting internet connection.

Get the Gro™ Connect App

Download the app to connect the controller to Wi-Fi, assign zones, and set schedules.

FCC Compliance

Equipment tested for Class B digital device limits per FCC Rules to provide reasonable protection against interference.

Unapproved Modifications

Modifications not expressly approved may void user's authority to operate the equipment.

Antenna Installation

Antenna must provide 20cm separation from all persons and not co-locate with other antennas.

Sprinkler System Warning

Malfunctioning systems can cause water damage; ensure system is in good repair before installation.
