What to do if SCUDO Control Unit provides only hot or cold water?

  If you're only getting hot or cold water from your SCUDO Control Unit shower valve, first, make sure the stop or service valve in the water supply pipework is fully open. Next, check the inlet filter for any blockages, cleaning or replacing it as necessary and flush the pipework. Finally, verify that the hot and cold water supplies aren't reversed, ensuring the hot is on the left and the cold is on the right when viewed from the front, and rework the pipework if needed.

  If the water temperature from your SCUDO Control Unit is too cold and the maximum water temperature is incorrectly set, check if the hot water temperature is less than 10ºC above the required blend temperature; if so, adjust the hot water temperature or wait for the water to reheat if a stored system is in use. Also, investigate whether the instantaneous water heater isn't igniting due to a low water flow rate; if this is the case, increase the water flow rate through the system, check and clean or replace the inlet filters, and consult the boiler manufacturer.

  Water leaking from the showerhead of the SCUDO Control Unit for a short time after turning it off is normal; adjust the showerhead angle in the holder to vary the drawing time as needed. However, if the shower cartridge isn't closing fully, possibly due to waterborne debris, remove and check it, referring to the Maintenance section before dismantling the shower valve.

If you have an instantaneous water heater, ensure the water flow rate or pressure is adequate; if it's too low, increase it.
