4.6 Using the electricity supplied
1. Wait two to five minutes for the generating set temperature to begin to rise.
2. Connect the devices which will be used to the electrical sockets (A10) on the generating set.
Note (for France only): Our generating sets are fitted with European (Schuko type) sockets where the earthing contact is made
using side tabs. In exceptional cases where your devices require the use of earthing pins, we supply* a 16 A pin adaptor (compliant
with NF C 61-314).
*Contact our sales department on 0 825 004 002 (calls charged at €0.15 per min inc. tax) and provide proof of purchase.
After use, always disconnect the adaptor and store it carefully, away from sources of humidity. Always ensure
that the socket cover on the generating set is closed: risk of damage (loss of seal).

4.7 Switching the generating set off
1. Disconnect the electrical sockets (A10) to allow the generating set to idle for 1 or 2 minutes.
2. Set the on/off switch (A7) to "OFF" or "O": the generating set switches off.
3. Close the fuel tap (A5).
Always ensure that the generating set is suitably ventilated.
Even when the unit is turned off, the engine continues to give off heat.

5 Generating set maintenance
The maintenance operations to be carried out are detailed in the maintenance table. The interval for this is supplied as a guide and
for generating sets operating with fuel and oil which conform to the specifications given in this manual. The maintenance intervals
can be shortened depending on the generating set operating conditions and requirements.
Consumables such as the oil, the air filter element and the spark plug must be in good condition to ensure the generating
set works correctly. These consumables should be replaced regularly and as often as necessary. It is important to note
that the warranty shall not be valid if generating set maintenance has not be performed correctly.
5.1 Reminder of use
As a safety measure, maintenance should be performed on the generating set regularly and carefully by people who have the
necessary experience and are equipped with suitable tools. Any warranty becomes void in the event of failure to respect the
maintenance recommendations. For any questions about a special operation, please contact your nearest agent who will advise
and help you.
