Do you have a question about the Sealey CP20VPW and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The Sealey CP20VPW is a 20V cordless pressure washer, designed for lightweight and portable use. It is supplied as a body-only unit, meaning the compatible 20V battery (CP20VBP2, CP20VBP4, CP20VBP6) and mains charger (CP20VMC) are sold separately.

Function Description:

This pressure washer is ideal for cleaning muddy bikes, sports equipment, gutters, conservatory roofs, and other hard-to-reach places. It operates by drawing water from any remote source via a 6m water intake hose, which includes a float and filter. The unit features a spray head with six function nozzles, allowing for various spray patterns to be selected by turning the head. A soap pot is also supplied for detergent application. The machine is not suitable for connection to potable water mains.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Model No.: CP20VPW
  • Hose Length: 6m
  • Maximum Pressure: 22bar (320psi)
  • Maximum Water Flow: 120L/hr
  • Motor Power: 130W
  • Supply: 20V
  • Measured Vibration Emission Value (a): 1.339 m/s²
  • Uncertainty Value (k): 1.5 m/s²

Usage Features:

  • Assembly: Before assembly, ensure the battery is not fitted. The lance and soap dispenser connect to the hand unit via a bayonet-type quarter-turn connector. The supply hose connects to the main unit via a push-on type connector.
  • Operation:
    • Primary Checks: Ensure the inlet filter is clean and the water supply, hose, and gun are correctly connected. Air should circulate freely around the washer.
    • Starting: Hold the spray gun firmly to counteract recoil. Before switching on, ensure the lance is not directed at people, objects, or animals. To start spraying, hold down the safety button and fully depress the trigger. The motor switches off automatically when the trigger is released.
    • Spray Pattern Adjustment: The spray nozzle head can be rotated to select one of six possible spray styles.
    • Soap Dispenser: This device is designed for use with a neutral, biodegradable cleaning agent. Using other detergents or chemical substances may impair safety and damage the cleaner, which is not covered by the guarantee.
    • Completion: After washing, wipe the machine clean and dry, remove the battery, and disconnect the water supply hose. Discharge any residual pressure by pressing the trigger until no water comes out of the nozzle. Failure to discharge pressure can result in personal injury.
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Always read and follow all safety warnings and instructions to prevent electric shock, fire, and serious injury.
    • Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to.

    • Store idle power tools out of reach of children and untrained persons.
    • Keep all persons and animals at a minimum distance of 15m from the washer when in use.
    • Only use clean water; non-filtered water or corrosive chemicals will damage the cleaner.
    • Release residual pressure before disconnecting the hose.
    • Ensure the nozzle is aimed correctly at the working surface before activating the jet.
    • The high-pressure jet can propel loose particles at high speed, causing serious injury.
    • Do not use on materials containing asbestos.
    • Do not touch the charger with wet hands.
    • Do not direct the jet against yourself, other persons, animals, electrical equipment, or the machine itself.
