1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 GENERAL SAFETY
p WARNING! Ensure Health and Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this equipment.
3 Familiarise yourself with the application and limitations of the ladder, as well as the potential hazards.
3 Maintain the equipment in good condition.
3 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Non-authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
3 Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.
p WARNING! Rest the base of the ladder on level and solid ground.
p WARNING! Never over-reach when on the ladder.
3 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
7 DO NOT use the ladder for any purpose other than that for which it was designed.
7 DO NOT use the equipment if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
7 DO NOT allow children to climb the ladder.
7 DO NOT use the equipment when you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
3 When not in use, stow securely.
2. INTRODUCTION
Aluminium loft ladder manufactured to BS7553:1992 class G. Complete with hand rail and all fixings with factory assembled components for
quick and easy installation. 3-Section design enables ladder to fit in smaller areas than standard 2-section ladders.

G Pole (for opening trap door and lowering ladder)

I Fixing pins/screws and marker for auto latch
J Trap door hinges
K Auto latch
L Stabilisers/retainers for hand rail
