The umbrella consists of four main components:
- Finial (A): The decorative top piece that screws into the umbrella frame.
- Canopy (B): The fabric shade portion of the umbrella. Available canopy colors include Mushroom, Indigo, and Pebble, as well as Cherry and Bisque.
- Umbrella Frame (C): The structural support for the canopy, including the pole and ribs.
- Bottom Pole (D): The lower section of the main pole that connects to the umbrella frame and inserts into a base.
The umbrella requires a heavy umbrella base, weighing no less than 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg), which is not included with the product. This base is crucial for stability and safety.
Usage Features:
Assembly and Setup:
- Step 1 (Finial Attachment): If the finial (A) is not already attached, align it with the threading on top of the umbrella frame (C) and turn clockwise (to the right) to lock it into place. Avoid over-tightening.
- Step 2 (Pole Attachment): Attach the bottom pole (D) to the umbrella frame (C). Then, tighten it in a counter-clockwise direction to secure the connection.
- Step 3 (Opening the Canopy): To open the canopy, turn the crank handle in a clockwise direction (to the right) until the canopy is fully extended.
- Step 4 (Securing the Umbrella): Insert the assembled umbrella into a heavy umbrella base (not included) weighing at least 50 lbs (23 kg). Tighten the locking nut on the side of the base to safely secure the umbrella in an upright position.
Closing the Canopy:
To close the canopy, turn the crank handle in the opposite direction (counter-clockwise). Once closed, secure the canopy with the attached strap.

- DANGER: Keep children out of the assembly area during assembly to prevent injury.
- WARNING: Read all instructions before beginning assembly and follow the steps outlined. Failure to assemble and install as instructed could result in the umbrella tipping over, causing personal injury and/or property damage.
- WARNING: Do not use this umbrella during periods of high winds and rain. Failure to do so may result in personal injury and/or damage.
- CAUTION: Assemble and use the umbrella on flat surfaces. Keep the umbrella away from glass tabletops during windy conditions to prevent breakage.
- INFORMATION: Recommend inserting the umbrella into an umbrella base (not included) to secure the umbrella in an upright position.
- INFORMATION: Close the umbrella and use the canopy ties when the umbrella is not in use.
- INFORMATION: Schematics in this manual are for assembly and operation illustration only. They may differ from the umbrella's actual appearance.
- Do not over-tighten screws or the finial during assembly.
- Ensure the umbrella is securely fastened in the base before use.
Maintenance Features:
Care and Cleaning:
Refer to the enclosed Sunbrella® care and cleaning label sewn into the interior side of the canopy for specific instructions on how to maintain the fabric. Regular cleaning helps prolong the life and appearance of the canopy.
Storage:
When not in use, especially during periods of high winds, rain, or extended storage, close the umbrella and secure it with the attached strap. It is recommended to store the umbrella in a protected area to prevent damage.
