What to do if SECO-LARM door locks electric strike does not activate?
    • T
      Terry WongJul 28, 2025
If your SECO-LARM door lock's electric strike isn't activating, start by dismounting the strike and ensuring the wiring connector is properly connected. Verify that the wiring connector is connected to a 12 or 24VDC power source. Use a multimeter to check if the strike is receiving the correct voltage and amperage; if not, consider using heavier gauge wires or increasing the power supply output. Also, confirm that the activation device, such as a keypad or push-button switch, is functioning correctly. Check the door latch for proper operation and replace it if needed. Finally, the electric strike's position may require adjustment by moving it or adding washers or shims.
