application software and data, and disable any security passwords. You will be responsible for re-installing
all such software, data and passwords.
Data recovery is not included in the warranty service and Sector 5 is not responsible for data that
may be lost or damaged during transit or a repair.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This Sector 5 Limited Hardware Warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for Sector
5 that can be identified by the "Sector 5" trademark, trade name or logo affixed to them. This Sector 5
Limited Hardware Warranty does not apply to any non-Sector 5 hardware products or any software, even if
packaged or sold with Sector 5 hardware. Non-Sector 5 manufacturers, suppliers or publishers may provide
their own warranties.
If applicable, software distributed by Sector 5 with or without the Sector 5 brand name (including but not
limited to system software) is not covered under this limited warranty. Please refer to any licensing
agreement accompanying the software of Sector 5 for more information.
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal,
reasonable, and except to the extent otherwise expressly provided for in this statement, noncommercial use
of this product.
This warranty does not apply to the following type of exclusions:
(1) The whole product or parts already beyond the warranty period;
(2) Damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not an
Sector 5 Authorized Service Provider;
(3) Damage caused by modification without the written permission of Sector 5;
(4) Malfunction or damage caused by accidental factors or man-made reasons (including, computer virus,
watering, scratches/scrapes, handling, compression, bump, improper mating, use of incorrect voltage,
falling objects, cosmetic damage etc.);
(5) Products or parts that not supplied or authorized by Sector 5;
(6) Products or parts located outside the country where the retail purchase was made;
(7) Products or parts for which you cannot provide a local warranty card issued by Sector 5 after registration
(only in countries where Sector 5 requires warranty registration);
(8) Altered product or serial numbers;
(9) Faults or damage caused by quality problems of other machines, parts, or software that do not come
from Sector 5;
(10) Minor imperfections within design specifications that do not materially alter functionality;
(11) The failure or damage caused by failure to specification requirements, errors or improper use, storage,
maintenance, or operation of the product (such as hot plug cable, hot plug non-USB external devices, etc.);
(12) The failure or damage caused by non-product required working environment (such as high or low
temperatures, too wet or dry, high altitude, abnormal physical stress, electromagnetic interference, power
supply instability, electrostatic interference, zero voltage is too large, the input voltage unreasonable, etc.)
(13) Any variety of failures due to forgotten passwords
(14) Normal and reasonable consumption or damage (such as: natural consumption wear and aging of
shell, connector block);
(15) Damage occurring in shipment, delivery and installation; and
(16) Malfunction or damage due to force majeure, natural disasters (such as earthquakes, fire, lightning,
etc.).
This warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and no warranties whether express or
