4 PREPARING THE DEVICE
4.1 Unpack
1. Carefully unpack the device. Follow the instructions for disposal of packaging materials in
chapter 9 – DISPOSAL.
2. The device may be protected for transport with transport locks. Remove these completely.
Do not use aggressive cleaners to remove remains of the transport locks.
3. Before connecting the device, check that the power cord or the device itself have
no damages.
4. Check if content comprises all equipment parts, see chapter 2 – CONTENT.
5. Make sure that the device is disconnected from the power supply.
4.2 Selection of suitable location
Set up the device in a suitable place:
•
near a safety socket with 10 A minimum protection
•
horizontal and vibration-free
•
heat resistant
•
surface does not react with rubber feet
•
with a minimum distance of 10 cm around the device
•
with an appropriate distance to extreme heating sources (>1m)
4.3 Before rst use
1. Take out the removable frying pan (4) by pulling out the handle (3).
2. Clean the digital air fryer, the frying pan (4) and the rack insert (5) with warm water and a
mild detergent.
3. Afterwards wipe all parts with a soft and damp cloth.
4. Dry thoroughly the digital air fryer and the frying pan (4).
5. Place the rack (5) onto the bottom of the frying pan (4).
6. Push the frying pan (4) into the device until it snaps.
7. The digital air fryer is now ready for use.
