・Periodic inspection and adjustment by disassembly and cleaning
(overhaul) isrecommended approximately once every3 to 4yearsin
order to maintainoptimal performance of the watch for a long time.
According to useconditions, theoilretaining conditionofyourwatch
mechanical partsmay deteriorate, abrasion of the parts mayoccur
due to contamination of oil, which may ultimately lead the watch
itself to stop. As the parts suchas gasketmay deteriorate, water-
resistantperformancemaybeimpairedduetointrusionofperspiration
andmoisture. Pleasecontactthe retailerfrom whom thewatchwas
purchasedforinspectionandadjustment by disassemblyand cleaning
(overhaul).  Forreplacement ofparts, please specify"SEIKOGENUINE
PARTS."When askingfor inspectionandadjustment by disassembly
and cleaning (overhaul),makesurethat thegasketand pushpin are
alsoreplacedwithnewones.

Recharge the watch.
How to charge
the watch p.58
Return the watch to a normal temperature so that it works accurately as usual, and then reset the time. The watch has been
adjusted so that it works accurately when it is worn on your wrist under a normal temperature range between 5℃ and 35℃ .
How to set the

Correct this condition by moving and keeping the watch away from the magnetic source. If this
action does not correct the condition, contact the retailer from whom the watch was purchased.
Reset the time. If the watch does not return to its normal accuracy after
resetting the time, contact the retailer from whom the watch was purchased.

You drop the watch, hit it against a hard surface, or wear it while

The inner surface of the glass is

Moisture has entered the watch because the
gasket has deteriorated.
The date changes during daytime.
AM/PM is not correctly set.
※ In the event of any other problem, please contact the retailer from whom the watch was purchased.

Push the crown back in to the normal position.
● The Direct Drive indicator hand points at 0, and the watch resumes its normal operation.
※ By conducting this operation, the Direct Drive indicator hand
moves to point at 0. This is not a malfunction.
※ After pushing the crown back in to the normal position, if no further
power is generated subsequently, the watch will stop operating
within three minutes.
※ The second hand may move at 2-second intervals (2 divisions
forward at every 2 seconds). In such a case, the Direct Drive
indicator hand may not point at 0.
Turn the crown repeatedly in the direction shown by the arrow to charge the watch.
● Continue to charge the watch until the amount of power
reserve reaches at least 6 hours. After that, set the time.

※ If the watch does not resume normal operation even after resetting
the built-in IC, consult the retailer from whom the watch was
purchased.

■ How to reset the Built-in IC
When the watch stops operating even though its Direct Drive indicator hand displays the residual power
reserve, follow the instructions below to reset the Built-in IC. The watch will resume its normal operation.
Pull out the crown to the second click.
Press the button for 3 seconds
or more using a sharp-pointed
tool (e.g. ball point pen).
※ If your watch has a screw lock type crown, unlock the
crown rst, and then pull the crown out.
●The second hand stops.
