Warning:
The use of non-original accessories can lead to adangerous situation.
Do not use the product for indoor heating purposes!
Switch off and unplug the appliance whenever it is not in use, when left unattended, before cleaning, maintenance or relocation. Never move the
appliance during operation.
Do not use the appliance if it malfunctions, has been dropped on the floor, immersed in water or damaged in any way. Take it to an authorised
service centre for inspection or repair.
Do not turn on the appliance without the frying pot being filled with the frying medium.
Do not place any items into the frying pot except for the frying basket.
It is forbidden to modify the surface of the appliance in any way, e.g. using self-adhesive wallpaper, foil, etc.
Installation Location of the Appliance
Use the appliance only on aflat, dry, clean, stable and heat-resistant surface.
Do not use the appliance near flammable materials such as curtains, kitchen towels, etc.
Do not place the appliance on the edge of atable, on the sink draining board, on unstable, tilted or uneven surfaces, on or near electric or gas
cookers and other heat sources.
During operation, aclear space of at least 15 cm must be left on all sides of the appliance to ensure sufficient air circulation. Do not place any objects
on the appliance or cover the ventilation openings.
Do not place the appliance near objects, surfaces or under objects that may be damaged by steam, such as walls, kitchen cabinets, sideboards,
paintings, curtains. Leaking steam could damage them.
Safety During Use
Prior to pouring the frying medium into the appliance, ensure that all its parts are completely dry. With the same level of care, dry all foods prior to
placing them into the fryer. Otherwise, the hot frying medium will start splashing.
Be especially careful when handling frozen foods. Remove all pieces of ice. The more ice that remains on the food, the more the frying medium will
splash
An old, especially dirty, frying medium may ignite spontaneously when overheated. Replace the frying medium in atimely manner. In the event of
afire, unplug the power plug and smother out the burning frying medium with ablanket.
Warning:
Never use water to extinguish the fryer!
Never add more frying medium into the frying pot than up to the MAX mark and never less than to the MIN mark. Whenever turning on the deep
fryer, ensure that there is asufficient amount of frying medium inside.
Never turn on the appliance when there is no frying medium inside the frying pot. Otherwise, it may overheat.
Never melt pieces of shortening in the fryer. If the shortening does not cover the hotplate, the resulting high temperature may result in damage
to the appliance or afire! Dissolve the shortening in another pot or similar container prior to using it.
The appliance must not be left unattended while inoperation.
The lid must be properly closed when the appliance is in operation. Do not place any objects (e.g. protective gloves, wipes) on the lid that could
cover the steam outlet.
During operation there needs to be sufficient area for air circulation above the appliance and around it. Do not cover or block the ventilation openings
of the appliance.
Make sure that the steam exhaust outlet does not point towards heat sensitive materials or you or other people. Hot steam may cause severe
scalding.
When frying, do not touch the areas where hot steam rises, as there is arisk of burns and scalding.
Be careful when opening the lid; ensure that the steam escapes away from your body.
Do not put your hands inside the appliance during operation.
Avoid contact with hot steam released from the vents during operation of the appliance.
If the appliance is switched on, the temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher. Do not touch hot surface. Otherwise, this could cause burns.
Use the handle to remove and carry the heated frying basket.
Make sure that no water or any other liquid splashes on the power plug or the power socket, and that the hot steam emitted from the appliance is
also kept away. If this still happens, disengage the circuit breaker of the power socket and then carefully dry the power socket and the power plug
before further use.
Do not place the heated frying basket on surfaces that are sensitive to heat.
