MAINTENANCE ADVICE:

Pipework and hydrotherapy products have to deal with several challenges:
pressure, temperature, repetitive cycles, damaging impact of water
Surfaces of pipework and hydrotherapy products require regular maintenance to preserve their
optimal aspect.
Wipe the pipework and the chromed, or glass, or wood surfaces after using them with a
wet sponge or a soft rag.
Never use abrasive products, nor acids nor chlorine products (based on hydrochloride,
hydrooric, or phosphoric acid).
These powerful products damage coatings and surfaces, and tarnish your equipment.
Clean chromed and glass surfaces using a gentle liquid soap or soapy water, paying attention to
rinsing properly with clear water after cleaning.
Grease (silicon grease) mechanical parts (cross handle, cartridge heads, inverters) periodically.
Use moving parts (inverter, temperature regulator handle for the thermostatic units¼) at least
once a week to ensure proper operation over time.
On the hand-held shower bar, move the slider without forcing it while accompanying its
movement along the bar.
Change the position of the slider once a week to ensure proper operation over time.
• Municipal water networks may carry mud and
particles (sand, deposits) that may damage your
adjustment mechanisms and obstruct your
ltering devices.
Installing a special lter can trap these particles
and protect your setups and equipment.
When performing maintenance (assembly and
disassembly) on your pipework, please place the
product on a soft surface, and use suitable tools
to avoid scratches.
PROBLEMS/ SOLUTIONS:
• Since hot water takes up less volume than cold water,
when the shower head or the shower column is
switched o, the hot water cools down and thus takes
more space
in the pipework. The top shower head may therefore
«drip» for a few moments.
Very hard water is heavily loaded with calcium and
magnesium which accelerate buildup of scale in your
pipework and electric appliances that use water.
To check for the hardness of your water, obtain further
information from your store or from the town hall.
Treating your water with a water softener can protect
your setups and extend the lifetime of your
equipment.
• Buildup of limescale in your setups leads to
over-consumption of water and energy.

USE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Before using your pipework for the rst time, or after an extended period of not using it, run water
for a few minutes in order to rinse the water feed conducts of your pipework.

> Check you cold and hot water supplies.
> Washer or head to be replaced.
> Defect in the base of the tap body.
> For showers tted with a compression nut, tighten it.
> Head to be replaced.
> Loose swan neck, re-tighten the swan neck nut.
> Rubber washer to be replaced.
> Too much grease applied.
> Faulty threading of exible tubes.
> Rubber washer to be replaced
> Poor compression of the cartridge.
(Re-tighten the base nut and the compression nut).
> Water feed exible tube damaged by being tightened too much,
To be replaced.
> Check the assembling of the exible tubes.
(for mixers tted with a handheld shower)
> Water feed exible tube damaged by being tightened too much,
To be replaced.
> Cartridge to be replaced (circuit must be bled).
> Poor compression of the cartridge
(re-tighten the compression nut)
> Washer improperly assembled or overgreased
(Top part of the mixer body)
> Check for your cold water supply. If it is cut o, the thermal
protection will be enabled and will cut o the water ow.
> Head of the ow regulator is to be replaced.
> Check for the assembly direction.
