SM1x INSTRUCTIONS
Turn On
Press and hold the power button on the right-hand side of the unit. You will hear the welcome message
‘Sensear, Sounds Good To Me’ The green light on the right hand side of the unit will begin to ash slowly.
You are in SENS Mode – Speech Enhancement Noise Suppression.
Turn Off
Press and hold the power button on the right-hand side of the unit. You will hear the message ‘System
Shutting Down’.
Adjusting The Volume
Press the plus (+) or minus (-) sign button on the right-hand side of the unit. For the highest volume continue
to press the plus (+) button until you hear ‘maximum’. The unit limits ear noise exposure to 82dB(A).
Switching Modes
To switch between SENS and passive or quiet mode press the power button once you have turned on the
unit. The green light on the right hand side of the unit will ash intermitently in SENS mode and quickly in
passive or quiet mode.
Two Way Radio Instructions
With the unit turned on connect the 2-way radio by using the cable provided and turn the radio on, you
should hear the message ‘Two-Way Radio On’.
If you do not hear the message ‘Two Way Radio On’ press and hold the plus (+) button on the right hand
side of the unit. You will hear the message ‘system setup, battery status’ then press the power button until
you hear ‘communication options’. Press the plus (+) button once more and you will hear ‘Two Way Radio
Enabled’.
TIP: Push to talk functionality can be used on the device or via the multi function button on the headset.
