6. Augering

This enables movement of the soil from the auger flight upwards and out of the drilled hole.

Note: The auger might be damaged if run in reverse!

Move constantly

up and down

(10-15cm) during drilling.

Insert the auger into the centre of the tripod keeping it as straight as possible. Start the drill and move the

auger constantly and gently 10 – 15 cm up and down during the drilling process.
