Usage Features:
Safety Instructions:
- Appliance must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD/GFCI type) with a rated tripping current not exceeding 30mA.
- Electric installations must fulfill local standards; earthed appliances must be permanently connected to fixed wiring.
- Damaged electrical cables must be replaced by a competent party.
- Extension cords are not recommended.
- Avoid operating external electrical appliances while in the spa or when wet.
- Children must be supervised at all times; not recommended for children under 8 years old. For children 8+, temperature should not exceed 37°C.
- Cover should be fitted and locked when not in use to retain heat and prevent unsupervised access.
- Shower before using to prevent cosmetic products/lotions from degrading water quality.
- Do not switch on if water or control system is frozen.
- Keep pets away from the spa.
- Consult a doctor regarding hot tub use during pregnancy or if you have heart disease, blood pressure issues, circulatory problems, diabetes, or are on medication.
- Water temperature should never exceed 42°C (107°F). Recommended operating temperatures are 38-40°C (100-104°F) for healthy adults; lower for younger children or extended use.
- Max programmable temperature is 42°C; reduce to 38-40°C before use.
- Exit the spa immediately if feeling uncomfortable or sleepy.
- Do not operate pump and heating system when the spa is empty to avoid damage and voiding warranty.
- Features 365 FreezeGuard Technology: setting temperature to 5°C prevents water in the system from freezing.
- Always add chemicals to a jug of water to avoid strong fumes or violent reactions.
- Must not be supplied through an external switching device (e.g., timer) to avoid accidental resetting of thermal cut-out.
- Adequate drainage must be provided for overflow.
- Installation surface must be smooth, flat, level, and capable of supporting the full weight of the spa, water, and users (e.g., 6-person spa filled: 980kg approx. plus occupants).
Setup:
- Outdoors: Requires a solid, level foundation free of sharp objects. Install near a drainage point. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure to the spa surface.
- Indoors: Floor must support the weight of the spa and occupants, be non-slip and level. Suitable drainage is essential.
- LED Lighting Setup: Check lights are working before setup. Insert lights loosely through loops on the base of the hot tub before filling with water to allow for expansion.
- Connect the lighting system (Mains Power Converter, LED Light strip, RF Remote Control).
- Remove plastic tape from the remote's battery compartment.
- Turn lights on with the power button.
- If colors are incorrect, ensure lights are on, press the solid Green button once, switch off power at mains for 5 seconds, turn back on, press and hold the solid green button immediately until color changes, then release. Wait 5 seconds for effect.
Operation:
- Setting Temperature: Press 'SET TEMP/LOCK', use 'TEMP UP' or 'TEMP DOWN' to adjust (5°C/41°F to 42°C/107.6°F), then press 'SET TEMP/LOCK' to confirm.
- Inflate/Air Jets: Press 'INFLATE/AIR JETS' to activate (red light appears). Press again to stop. Air jets stop automatically after 20 minutes to prevent overheating; wait 10 minutes to reset.
- Heater: Press 'HEATER' to activate (red light appears). Press again to stop. When the heater is on, the filter system automatically circulates water. Heater stops when 1°C above pre-set temperature is reached, but the light remains on. Filter pump continues. Heater reactivates when water falls 1°C below pre-set temperature.
- Filtration System: Press 'FILTER' to activate (red light appears). Press again to stop. After approximately 168 hours, 'FC' will flash with a warning tone, indicating filter replacement is needed. The pump and heating system will not operate until 'FC' is cleared by pressing 'FILTER' again.
Maintenance Features:
Cleaning the Inflatable Pool Spa:
- Clean with soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
- DO NOT use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners.
Repairing Punctures:
- Use repair patches. Dry the area completely, apply strong adhesive to the patch, cover the damaged area, smooth out air bubbles. Allow 12 hours to dry before use.
Cleaning & Storing Away:
- Emptying:
- Remove spa plug from electrical mains.
- Remove screw cap from water outlet (L), ensuring drainage plug (G) is inserted.
- Screw inflation hose (D) onto water outlet (L) and direct the open end appropriately.
- Remove drainage plug from the floor outlet to drain water.
- Use a sponge to absorb excess water. Operate air jet function for up to 20 minutes (one full cycle) to drain and dry the pipeline. Repeat if not completely dry.
- Replace inflation hose (D), drainage plug (G), and water outlet cap (L).
- Deflating:
- Locate the black two-part air valve (K) on the spa.
- Fully unscrew and remove the rapid deflation air valve (K) by turning anti-clockwise.
- Carefully fold the spa to direct and remove as much air as possible through the open valve.
- Storing:
- Ensure all water is completely drained from the spa and pump system. Use a wet/dry vacuum to remove water from pipes and pump lines.
- Remove the filter cartridge.
- Place the spa in the provided bag and store in a dry place, ideally raised off the floor and away from extreme temperatures.
- Note: Plastic can become brittle and susceptible to breakage in subzero temperatures.
Water Treatment:
- Regularly monitor and treat spa water.
- Be aware of higher risk groups for Legionnaires' disease (diabetes, lung/heart disease, smokers, heavy drinkers, impaired immune system, chronic respiratory/kidney disease). Consult a doctor for more information.
- Legionnaires' disease risk factors: water temperature 20-45°C, breathable water droplets, and deposits supporting bacterial growth (rust, sludge, scale, organic matter, biofilms).
Cleaning Water Filter Cartridge & Mesh Filter:
- If using 2-3 times per week, change filter every 2 weeks for best performance.
- Remove filter protector cover (C) and filter cartridge (B).
- Rinse cartridge under cold tap and reuse. Replace if soiled, discolored, or if holes/wear are present.
- DO NOT use pressurized water to clean filters.
- Replace filter protector cover (C) over filter cartridge (B) and attach to filter connector (N) by turning clockwise.
- Check filter cartridge daily to keep water clean.
Troubleshooting:
The guide provides a table of common problems, potential causes, and solutions, including:
- Air jet system not operating: Air pump too hot, power box issue, air pump in cooling mode.
- Heating system not operating: Temperature set too low, dirty filter cartridge, improper water levels, heating element failure.
- Filtering system not operating/Rattling noise: Dirty filter cartridge, power box issue, household electrical supply issue.
- Inflatable Pool Spa leakage: Spa torn or punctured.
- Water not clean: Insufficient filtering time, dirty filter cartridge, improper water maintenance.
- Display temperature higher than 40°C after stopping heating: Residual heat, blocked water inlet.
Control Panel Error Codes:
- FC: Filtration system has run for approx. 168 hours, requiring filter change.
- SL/HL: Temperature issue.
- SH: Water Temperature Sensor Issue.
