Maintaining and cleaning the appliance

Problem Solution
The appliance hardly
picks up any dust and/or
the suction power drops
The dust bag needs to be replaced Zpage 15, „Changing the dust
bag“.
It is recommended to service the filters at this occasion as well
Zpage 15, „Cleaning or replacing the filter“.
Attached nozzle is unsuitable for the floor to be cleaned.
Change the nozzle, Zpage 14, „Assembly and changing of acces-
sories“.
With the switchable floor nozzle attached, the switch is not in a po-
sition appropriate to the type of floor.
Adjust the position of the floor nozzle switch, Zpage 14, „Assem-
bly and changing of accessories“.
Suction power setting is possibly not appropriate to the type of
floor.
Adjust suction power, Zpage 14, „Adjusting the suction power“.
The cover can not be
closed
This is a safety feature that should prevent the appliance from be-
ing operated without a dust bag inserted.
Be sure to have the correct bag type inserted properly Zpage 15,
„Changing the dust bag“.
The dust bag is projecting and prevents the cover from closing.
Be sure to have the dust bag inserted fully Zpage 15, „Changing
the dust bag“.
