Always position the appliance with
sufcient surrounding space. Do not
place it directly by a wall or in a corner,
or near curtains or similar objects. Keep
inammable objects well away and do
not cover the appliance during use.

Always switch off and remove the
plug from the wall socket
- after use,
- in cases of malfunction,
- before you remove the crêpe plate,
- during cleaning.
When removing the plug from the wall
socket, never pull on the power cord;
always grip the plug itself.
Only handle the plug with dry hands.
Do not let the power cord hang free.
Do not allow the power cord to touch
any hot parts of the appliance.
Do not operate or store the appliance
outdoors or in humid environments or
rooms such as a cellar or garage.
