∙ After use, the scales may be switched
off by holding down the key for 2-3
seconds. However, the unit will switch
off automatically if no key is pressed
within a 60-second period.

Battery replacement
∙ The symbol ‘Lo’ appears if the batteries
need replacing.
∙ To insert or replace the batteries,
open the battery compartment located
underneath the unit. When inserting the
batteries, always observe the correct
polarity. Incorrectly inserted batteries
may cause damage to the unit.
∙ Use two identical 1.5 V AAA-type
batteries.
∙ During extended periods of non-use,
always remove the batteries from the
battery compartment. This will prevent
damage to the appliance from leakage.
∙
Remember to protect the
environment. Never
dispose of old batteries in
domestic garbage. Old
batteries must be
disposed of through the
proper local special garbage collection
points.
Cleaning and care
∙ The housing may be wiped with a soft
dry and - if necessary - slightly damp,
lint-free cloth.
∙ If necessary, clean the cover directly
after use with warm soapy water.
∙ Do not use any abrasives, harsh
cleaning solutions or aggressive
solvents for cleaning.
∙ Always store the scales in their
horizontal position and do not place any
weight exceeding 3,0 kg on the platform.
