Defrosting programme
A-1 Baked potatoes
Put the raw, unpeeled potatoes on a suitable plate, and place it in the centre of the oven.
A-2 Beverages
To heat up beverages and hot water for tea or instant coffee
A-3 Popcorn
For microwave popcorn (available in bags). Always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions on the package.
A-4 Heating up
For heating up solid food.
A-5 Noodles/pasta
Put the pasta in a suitable container, and cover with cold water; place the container on the turntable.
A-6 Pizza
For cooking deep-frozen pizza. Always let the appliance pre-heat according to the manufacturer’s instructions, to be found
on the package, and then choose the appropriate automatic programme. Use the lower grill rack.
A-7 Roast chicken
Put a whole chicken on a suitable container in the centre of the oven.
Four beep signals indicate that 2/3 of the pre-programmed cooking time has elapsed, when cooking is interrupted. Turn the
chicken over and press the rotary control
to restart the cooking process.
A-8 Cake
This programme is suitable for baking simple, basic pound cakes. Please refer to the relevant recipe information for the
necessary pre-heating times. Put the dough into a baking tin and place the tin on the turntable.
A-9 Defrosting
See the Defrost programme section of this manual.
Childproof safety device:
This safety device prevents children from operating the appliance without supervision.
To activate the safety device, press for 3 seconds.
The indicator appears on the display. To switch off the safety device, press again for 3 seconds.
The indicator disappears.
Note: Should you experience a problem when switching the appliance on, rst verify that the safety device is not activated.
Interior lighting:
The interior light comes on when the door is opened; it also remains on during operation. It goes out once a programme has
nished.
